Ellicott City, Maryland
I am in Baltimore this weekend. On my way down, I called an aunt I have never met. She was gracious enough to invite me into her home. We had amazing home made pizza last night, and this morning she took me on a walk with her girl friends. We walked around Sentential Lake in Columbia, Maryland.
Phillies Headed to the World Series Again
October 31, 2008
Here are my photos from my visit to Philadelphia last year when the Phillies won the world series. I had a lot of fun people watching at the parade. The parade happened on Halloween so it made for some interesting outfits.
I also made a few friends, like the Irish fellas above. They were carrying a bucket of beer and selling each can for $5. They gave me one for free.
Adding this awesome event to the list of things I plan to accomplish. If any of you live down in West Virginia you should check it out!

Shoe Tree on Highway 50 “The Loneliest Highway” in Nevada
The story of how this great tree has come to be is unknown, even to the locals. From what I remember of a conversation with the gas station attendant in nearby Austin, it had to do with a feud between newly weds returning from Reno.
This was by far one of my best memories of my trip walking across the country.

Tilt Shift Pittsburgh
The minute I learned about tilt shift I knew Pittsburgh would be a lot of fun. I took a Drive up to Mount Washington this morning and snapped some pictures, then played with tilt shift this afternoon. This is my favorite. I may post more later.
