Tip Tuesday
One of the places he encourages solo travelers to avoid is Quebec City. Unfortunately I missed that memo.

Hanging out with the old gang. Newest culinary creation was the cream cheese dog, which I rate a 7.5. The onions really perfected it.
After hearing about Myriah constantly for the past two years it was great to meet her.
The red couch was a garage sale find of mine, that I gave to the guys when we lived at 1500. I got it for free and I am so glad that it is still going strong.

Streetlight Manifesto with Broadway Calls and Outernational.
I missed pretty much all of Broadway Calls while looking for a parking spot in South Side.
Outernational was awesome. They sang some songs in Spanish. I bought their cd, but unfortunately all the songs on it are in English. I will have to track down those songs one way or another.
I went upstairs to watch Streetlight Manifesto, because that’s where the bar was. It was nice because the crowd up there was a bit more mature. However, my view was horrible. I can proudly report none the less, that the lead singer of Streetlight and I were wearing the same shoes.

Montreal
Pub crawl with the Hostel
I made some new friends, Nick and Christoph (our guide for the evening). They were very helpful since they both spoke French.
We went to 4 pubs that evening. The first was a lounge setting, I had a pint of Moosehead. The second had cheap pitchers of Boreale. The third was decorated in 50’s decor and had great 50’s tunes as well. This place had a Ms. Pac Man machine that was sadly out of order. The forth place was weird. They had no beer on tap. They had two floors and a deck. Most pople were hanging out on the deck. Downstairs there was a dance floor with some people dancing and a dj spinning. These people may have been on extacy. Upstairs the dance floor was empty, but there were two djs spinning like their life depended on it.

My intent was to hike to the top of Mount Washington. However, the rocks were wet and the wind was wild. I made it to the tree line, and then turned around. I ended up taking some pretty waterfall pictures on my way back down.

Mount Washington, New Hampshire
Mount Washington is the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 ft (1,917 m). It is famous for its dangerously erratic weather, holding the record for the highest wind gust directly measured at the Earth’s surface, at 231 mph (372 km/h) on the afternoon of April 12, 1934.
